Privacy
A reader of this guide hands over nothing: no sign-up form, comment box, cookie or tracking tag exists here. The only personal data in play is the line the web server logs each time it sends a page, and each day’s log is deleted after 14 days.

What reaches the server when you visit?
When a page loads, the hosting server notes the visit in its access log. The note records your IP address, the date and time, the request line (its method, the page you asked for and the protocol), the response status, the bytes sent, the page you came from (the referrer, if your browser passes it on) and the browser’s self-description, its user agent. That line is all the site records about a visit. Nobody signs in, and nothing you read is tied to a name.
If you write to info@tombolasistersites.co.uk, your message and email address reach the publisher and are used only to deal with what you asked.
How long is the log kept, and why?
The server starts a fresh log file every day and holds each one for 14 days; after that the file is deleted. The lines are kept so the site can be run and protected: to trace a page that fails to load, an error, or traffic that looks like an attack. That is the legal basis under UK data protection law: legitimate interests, in keeping the guide online and secure.
The log is not used to profile readers, is not joined up with any other data, and is neither sold nor handed to anyone else.
What does the guide never use?
- Cookies, local storage or any other store in your browser
- Analytics, advertising pixels or social media tags
- Fonts, images or scripts fetched from other companies’ servers
- Forms, comments, newsletters or sign-ups
The pages are plain HTML and styling; the two typefaces are files on this host as well. The brand logos, and the main guide’s homepage screenshots of tombola, tombola arcade, Sky Bingo and Sun Bingo, are pictures kept on this host too, so looking at them contacts none of those companies or anyone else. Script is limited to a few lines on the main guide that turn the key under its ring diagram, and the two proofs at its top, into buttons that move to the matching section. A check of the built pages found no cookies, no browser storage and no requests to any other address.
What can a linked site see about you?
Source links lead to the Gambling Commission, Gibraltar’s Gambling Division, Companies House, the Internet Archive, Flutter, the Apple and Google app stores, the Sky and Sun Bingo help and offer pages, news publishers and GAMSTOP. Each opens in a fresh tab without passing on the referring address, so the site at the other end cannot tell which page you came from; its own privacy terms take over once you land there.
What rights do you have over the log?
UK data protection law gives you the right to a copy of any personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to its use. Send the request to info@tombolasistersites.co.uk; because the log holds no names, giving the IP address you used and the day of your visit lets the matching lines be found within the 14 days they exist. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
